Take a peek at some of the new DVF Lytton clutches for SS 2012. Available in black, chalk, pink and aqua, with no doubt more colours to follow, they have been update to coincide with this season’s trend towards colours bright and beautiful The DVF Lytton clutch is a rounded box clutch made from leather featuring either smooth leather or an all over snakeskin textured embossed design.
The iconic feature of this clutch is the branch clasp, which is a trademark feature seen in Diane Von Furstenberg’s handbags and jewellery. This clutch also comes with a removable silver chain strap for alternative carry options.
Inside, the clutch is lined in black fabric and there is a single slip pocket together with a slim silver tone DVF brand plaque.

Style Note: The Lytton is reintroduced each season in different shades and textures of leather. There is a leaning towards bright colours for this season, in keeping with seasonal trends, but in many ways the bag is a classic does not date. For example, last year’s Lytton collection included metallic leather – and metallics – especially silver – are big news again this season, as is evidenced by this season’s DVF’s silver Tonda clutch.

The See by Chloe Leopard Shoulder Bag is made from a cream and black jacquard fabric, and trimmed with black leather. It has an all over leopard print design.
The bag has goldtone metal hardware, including the two vertical outer zip pockets on the front of the bag, with their characteristic branded zip pulls.
The bag is a flapover style with a magnetic fastening. The top of the bag also has a drawstring closure and the drawstring is embellished with two large leather black tassels.
Inside, the bag has a black cotton canvas lining, with an interior gold tone zip pocket and a black leather Chloe brand label.

The Michael by Michael Kors Hamilton Bag, pictured above, is a classic Michael Kors handbag which is reintroduced each season in different colours and textures of leather. The Grommet version is embellished to the front of the bag with hundreds of silver tone or gold tone grommets. All the metal work on the bag is the same colour, including the chunky branded padlock on the front and the chunky chain accents to the leather shoulder strap. In addition to the shoulder strap, the bag has two rolled leather top handles; it also has a leather tag hanging from one of the handles which contains the key to the padlock. The bag has a top magnetic fastening.

Style Note: I think that this is the most striking version of the Harper bag to date. The large size, multiple carry options and tassel adornment combined with the contrasting jacquard and ponyskin mean this bag has got the lot. It’s truly beautiful.
