Author: D&G Lily Studded Cross Body Bag
This Dolce & Gabbana Lily cross body bag is the classic D&G Lily style with three top zips, but given a glam makeover! The most obvious feature of this bag are the glorious metallic studs that adorn the front of the bag, in shades of gold, silver, pewter and bronze which contrast wonderfully with the brown leather beneath. The studs are grouped into shapes, and I can make out hearts, stars and horse shoes. Wow!
All the metal hardware (apart from some of the studs) on the Lily is gold in colour, including the padlock and key and the D&G branding on one of the zip pulls. This bag has an adjustable and detachable cross body strap.
Inside, bag is lined in a grey canvas material and there is one zip pocket.

Style note: I love the way that D&G have reinvented this Lily bag for the summer. Just imagine you’re on holiday, beautifully tanned, wearing a thin cotton dress and gladiator sandals. What better for a touch of evening glamour, than this amazing bag?

Balenciaga Metro Bag in Green or Grey

The Balenciaga Metro bag in gorgeous emerald green or slate grey has two top carry handles and also a detachable shoulder strap, with a built in shoulder rest, so you can carry this bag like a handbag or wear it over your shoulder. The Metro is a rectangular bag with a top zip fastening – the zip has a long, leather zip pull. All the metal hardware on the bag is bronze in colour. Features include a flap over zip pocket on the front of the bag, together with buckle and stud detailing near the lower corners of the bag and leather laces detail.
Inside, the bag is fully lined and there is an interior zipped pocket.

The Balenciaga Pompon bag is a classic Balenciaga design which is highly sort after. It has a slouchy style and a classic shape with a leather drawstring fastening at the top of the bag. It can be carried via the two top handles or the included removable shoulder strap. The bag is decorated with large stud detailing throughout, and there is an external zip pocket on the front of the bag. Inside, the bag is lined in black and there is a further zipped pocket and a leather label with “Balenciaga, Paris” embossed on it.

The Alexander McQueen black “Faithful” large biker tote bag (pictured above) features asymmetric zip detailing and stud-fastened fold over flap decoration.
