Chloe Ethel Tote Bags in Red (Cyclamen) or Brown (Light Clay) for 2012

The Chloé Ethel hobo is available in a choice of two styles for the SS 2012 season.

The first style is the top bag in the photo on the right. Available in light clay or cyclamen, this bag is made from soft crinkled lambskin leather and features gold coloured metal hardware throughout together with Chloé embossed leather tag on the front. It has two top handles with the hand rest in a contrasting colour and a top magnetic stud fastening.

Inside the bag is fully lined in cotton, and there is one zip pocket and five slip pockets.

Measurements: 30cm / 11.7″ x 27cm /  10.5″ x 22cm x 8.6″ (all measurements are approximate).

The second style is the bottom bag in the photo.  Available in light clay only with only low stocks remaining, this bag has two top handles and a removable and adjustable cross body strap. Like the first bag, it has a top magnetic fastening and a cotton lining with one zip pocket and five slip pockets.

Chloe Ethel Satchel

The Chloé Ethel satchel bag is made from lambskin and goatskin leather and is slouchy in appearance. It has a top zip fastening and features golden hardware throughout – including the oversized handle links -  and contrast leather detail on the two top carry handles. The bag also has a detachable and adjustable shoulder / cross body strap. There is a subtle Chloe branded leather label on the front of the bag.

Inside, this satchel is fully lined and there are open and zipped pockets inside.

Measurements: Width: 24cm/ 9½” , height:  30cm /12″ , depth 22.5cm / 9″; shoulder strap drop: 56cm /22″; all measurements are approximate

Style note: The gorgeous mauve leather is softly grained and will keep its appearance after years of use. Team it with a pencil skirt, a smart blouse and some heels for a smart appearance at work; at the weekend – well, this colour goes beautifully with denim jeans!

Chloe Ethel Large Satchel

The Chloé Ethel large satchel in ivory / off white (see right) has two top carry handles with contrast leather trim. Like the satchel above, it also comes with a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap. This bag is similar to the satchel above, except it is larger. It has the same gold-tone (oversized) hardware, and is fully lined with an internal zip pocket and open pockets. It has a top zip fastening and branded label on the front.

Chloé Ethel Hobo Bag in Tan Leather

The Chloé Ethel hobo is a large bag made from leather which is soft, supple and shiny with a glazed appearance. This bag has gold coloured hardware throughout including the double zip pulls on the top zip fastening. This bag has a single, structured shoulder bag which contrasts nicely with the relaxed look that the hobo has.The bag is fully lined.

Style note: Chloé Ethel hobo is a new take on the Chloé Ethel bag and it makes a really nice hobo, I think. This bag could easily make the transition from daytime to evening, and season to season, and as such should be considered a worthy investment purchase.
