DVF Mandy Hobo Bag

Feast your eyes upon the new Mandy Hobo Bag from Diane Von Furstenberg, and it’s varied incarnations. The version on the top right is the python print version and the other two are a combination of textured and smooth leather.

The bags all have a  top zip fastening  with a fabric and  leather top handle. The bag has a zip around base allowing it to be expanded in size and also display a vivid pop of colour.

The bag has a fabric lining and there are two open pockets and one zipped pocket inside.

Anya Hindmarch Valorie Clutch

Celebrate Christmas with my-wardrobe.com

One of the perks of being a fashion blogger is being invited to events where I can view some of the season’s latest fashions.   I was recently invited down the the my-wardrobe.com Christmas party, to view many of  the latest lovely items available on their website, in celebration of the opening of their Christmas Room – a room dedicated to party outfits and gifts for the festive season.

DVF Lytton Clutch and Sportmax Ventura Wool Ribbed Hat

Of course, it didn’t take me long to appreciate the gorgeous designer outfits that were surrounding me, and the photo on the right is of me trying out the Anya Hindmarch Valorie Clutch, the gorgeous glitter clutch that Anya Hindmarch brings out each year, which is available in different colours. Those of you with sharp eyes will notice that the table on the left of the photo is bedecked with the Diane Von Furstenberg Lytton, a box clutch with a signature twig clasp which also is brought out each year in different colours and textures of leather.

So, on the left, there’s me (again) posing with the bronze DVF Lytton Clutch and also completing the look with Sportmax Ventura Wool Ribbed Hat, which I was also rather impressed by.

Tibi Cream Tuxedo Jacket with Leather

Another item that I really loved was the Tibi Cream Tuxedo Jacket with leather. This jacket, pictured on the right, has a shawl lapel which is actually made from black leather, together with a stunning lace lining. The jacket itself, which is made from a wool blend fabric, really combines different materials and textures in a most unusual and attractive way.

DVF Harper Large Day Bag in Black and White

The DVF Harper Day Bag is a black and white shoulder bag made from zebra printed ponyskin with a jacquard flap over. It has the signature brushed gold coloured metal turnlock fastening on the front and a removable leather tassel charm.

The bag has two straps – a black leather carry handle and a leather and chain removable shoulder strap. There is a small “DVF” logo in gold on the reverse of the bag, and two studs which also feature the DVF branding.

Inside, the bag is fully lined in fabric and there is a zip pocket with a DVF plaque below it and four slip pockets.

Style Note: I think that this is the most striking version of the Harper bag to date. It’s large, the black and white colour looks great with anything (although it does look superb teamed with a black dress and heels) and it’s defo the bag to lust over this season. The large size, multiple carry options and tassel adornment combined with the contrasting jacquard and ponyskin mean this bag has got the lot. It’s truly beautiful.
