Marc Jacobs Alana Bag in Burgundy
The Marc Jacobs Alana Bag is a new bag from Marc Jacobs, from the Autumn Winter 2011 “Beautiful People” Collection. The bag has been carried by Alana Zimmer and Dakota Fanning, and rumours abound that Marc Jacobs actually named the bag after Alana Zimmer – we know he named the Stam after the model Jessica Stam so the rumours might well be true…
Anyway, back to the bag. The Alana bag is made from grainy patent leather and is a bowling style bag. The inside is lined in leather. The bag has two structured top handles, a zip top fastening and a large front flap over with a black button stud fastening. Inside, there is a zip fastening pocket.

Style note: The red wine colour of this bag is an on trend colour for the Autumn Winter season, and this bag looks fabulous teamed with skinny black leather jeans and trousers and black courts for a sassy off duty look. The model in the photo above is wearing YSL Opyum black pumps, Drome stamped leather leggings and the Marc Jacobs v-neck ruffle disc top.

Paul’s Boutique Quilted Molly Bag in Plum, Navy, Black, Blue or Blush
The Paul’s Boutique Quilted Molly Bag is a quilted, bowling style bag, available in a range of lively colours, with two contrast grab handles. Each bag has a gold tone Paul’s Boutique brand plaque in gold on the front – all the metal work on the bags, including the studs on the base of the handles and the top zip fastening are gold in colour.

Tory Burch Amanda Bags at Selfridges
This season’s Tory Burch Amanda Bags are available online from Selfridges and there is a lot of choice available. These bags are prized for the quality of their soft, pebbled leather exteriors and the fact that they make the transition from day wear to evening wear so easily. All the bags also have the characteristic signature cut out logo on the front.

The Tory Burch Amanda Logo Clutch

The Chloe Madeleine Bowling Bag is a beautifully made yet understated handbag, which will add a touch of luxe to your day wear outfits.
