Mulberry Evelina Handbag Range for Spring Summer 2012
The Mulberry Evelina Handbag range is new for the Spring Summer 2012 season. The collection has three styles in it so far, and they are:
- The Mulberry Evelina Hobo
- The Mulberry Evelina Large Satchel, and
- The Mulberry Evelina Satchel
The bags are made from leather and are available in a smooth fudge coloured leather, which is a light tan colour, as seen above in the Evelina Hobo; a khaki coloured textured leather, as seen in the large Evelina Satchel below, and black textured leather, as seen in the Evelina Hobo pictured at the foot of this page.
All the metal hardware on the bags is gold in colour.

Mulberry Evelina Hobo
The Mulberry Evelina Hobo (pictured at the top and the bottom of this post) has a single top handle with gold tone plaque detail and a top zip fastening. It also has a detachable cross body strap. There is a small Mulberry tree logo to the lower front centre of the bag, and the shoulder strap is detachable. Inside, there are two pockets, one of which is zipped, and the bag is fully lined in Mulberry tree fabric.

Mulberry Evelina Satchel
The Mulberry Evelina Satchel is a flap over bag with a Mulberry tree logo on the centre of the flap. It has an adjustable and detachable shoulder strap and inside there is a zip pocket and a slip pocket.
It is available in large (pictured right) and small (pictured above left).

Style note: These new bags from Mulberry are achingly cool and make it fun to be a girl. With a range of neutral colours and three different styles, it seems Mulberry have thought of everything. Mulberry Bayswater Camel Leopard Haircalf
The Mulberry Bayswater Camel Leopard Haircalf has been featured in the Harrods Review Magazine and the top piece fit for 2012. The magazine describes the bag as the “I’ll do anything to own it” bag of the year – high praise indeed from Harrods, who sell the bag online (see link below) as well as in their London store.
The bag is made from calf hair leather, and whilst it features the classic Bayswater details – the gold-tone postman’s lock and the hidden padlock in a hanging leather tag, it has certainly had a sexy makeover.

Mulberry Oversized Postmans Lock Clutch in Conker
The Mulberry Oversized Postman’s Lock Clutch is a brand new design from Mulberry. This oversized clutch, made from suede, is big enough for the essentials and has a sleek, statement look.
All the metalwork on the bag is shiny pale gold in colour including the postman’s turnlock fastening on the front (which features the Mulberry bush branding) and the zip fastening, which has an attached leather loop zip pull. The bag is a fold over style.

Mulberry Large Lambskin Lily with Buckle Chain in Midnight
This new version of the Lily from Mulberry is a much larger version and is made from soft grained lambskin leather in midnight, which is navy blue. The bag also doubles as an oversized clutch.
All the metalwork on the bag is gunmetal in colour, including the postman’s turnlock fastening on the front of the bag, the horse shoe charm contained in the hanging leather fob, and the chain strap, which features for the first time a trompe l’Oeil (trick of the eye) buckle on the strap. The chain enables the bag to be worn over the shoulder, or it can be pulled through to wear the bag cross body.

Mulberry Patent Alexa Bag in Oak
The Mulberry Patent Alexa Bag is made from shiny patent leather teamed with pale gold metal hardware.
It is a flap over style, and to the front is the classic turnlock fastening. There are also to buckled straps that have magnetic popper fastenings on the front.
This rivets and turnlock fastening on the front feature the Mulberry branding.
All the standard Alexa features are in evidence – the plaited top handle and the detachable, adjustable cross body strap.

Mulberry Bayswater with Fox Rivets in Deer Brown
This Mulberry Bayswater Bag with Fox Rivets is made from calf hair leather, and is hand embellished with gold tone metal rivets in the form of tiny foxes. The bag has a the signature postman’s lock fastening on the front, but instead of the two standard screws there are foxes faces. The fox faces also embellish the sides and reverse of the bag.

Mulberry Leopard Hair Calf Bayswater Bag
This Mulberry Leopard Hair Calf Bayswater Bag is made from calf hair leather, and is a classic Bayswater with gold coloured metal hardware. It has the iconic postman’s turnlock fastening at the front and a hidden padlock in a hanging leather pouch. This flap over bag has two top handles to carry it in your hand or over your shoulder.
