Launer Traviata Handbag in Royal Blue, Latte, Lime Green, Black, Ruby Red, Raspberry Red (Patent), Black (Patent), Jaffa Orange or Daffodil Yellow
The Launer Traviata Handbag is a bag that is frequently carried by The Queen – and indeed, Launer are the holders of a royal warrant.
The Traviata Bag is made from calfskin leather in either matte or patent. It is a boxy, structured, traditional handbag with a flap over top and a single top handle. Whilst this handbag is a favourite of the monarch, the sales of it have also been booming in the under 50’s and the bag is now available for online purchase at Selfridges.
Are any of my readers old enough to remember Mrs Thatcher and her handbags? Well, she was a fan of Launer handbags too. These are bags for powerful women, there’s no question of that.
The Traviate Handbag has gold tone metal hardware throughout with the discrete twisted metal brand logo on the front, fastening with a concealed stud at the front. In addition to the top handle, it also comes with a detachable shoulder strap. The bag is lined in suede and features two internal compartments, zip fastening and slip pockets. On the back of the bag there is a slip pocket and there are four metal feet on the base to protect it from scratches.

This is a classic, lady like style, perfect for carrying at a wedding, special occasion or luncheon. It has a retro yet classic look which is, in many ways, timeless.
