Chloe Marcie Bags for 2012
Chloe have introduced their new range of Marcie handbags for the new spring summer 2012 season. Styles available include the Chloe Marcie Shoulder Bag, the Chloe Marcie Small Hobo Bag and the Chloe Marcie Crossbody Bag, and all the styles detailed in this post can be bought online from Harrods or Selfridges.
Chloe Marcie Shoulder Bag in Tan
The Chloe Marcie Shoulder Bag is a classic style, made from rich quality butter soft tan leather and embellished with golden hardware throughout. The bag is a flap over style with a leather tie front flap pocket, and features awesome contrast stitch detail.
The shoulder bag has the distinctive “waist” shape.
There is a subtle Chloe logo embossed into the leather of the flap over at the front. The bag has a top zip fastening with double zip pull tag, and inside a zip pocket and a slip pocket.
The two top handles have wrapped leather detail.
This is the largest of the bags detailed herein, and it measures 34cm /13.4″ x 44cm x 17.2″ x 14cm / 5.5″; handle drop 19cm / 7.4″ (all measurements are approximate). It is delivered with a Chloe dust bag.
Chloe Marcie Small Shoulder Bags in Tan, Black or Coral Pink
The Chloe Marcie Shoulder Bag is also available in three colours in the smaller size – tan, black or coral pink. This version of the bag, in addition to having the two top handles, also has a detachable cross body strap. Similar in all other ways to the bag above, this bag measures 29cm / 11.4″ x 36cm / 13.2″ x 12cm / 4.7″; handle drop 15cm / 5.9″
Chloe Marcie Small Hobo Bag in Coral, Black or Tan
The Chloe Marcie Small Hobo Bag is available in coral pink, black or tan leather, and features the beautiful stitch detail and goldtone hardware seen in the other Marcie bags. This bag is a more rounded, scoop shape and has a zip top fastening and a front flap with a pouch pocket underneath it. The shoulder strap is a structured, wrap leather style.
Inside the bag, there is a zip pocket and a slip pocket, and this bag shares the timeless and classic style of the other Chloe Marcie bags. It measures 34cm / 12.4″ x 34cm / 12.4″ x 9cm / 3.6″ with a handle drop of 17″ / 6.6″.
Chloe Marcie Crossbody Hobo Bag in Tan
The Chloe Marcie Crossbody Hobo Bag is the cross body version of the Marcie, a rich, tan leather bag with similar beautiful stitch detail to the other bag.
This bag is a flap over style, and the flap itself has a zip around fastening. There is a Chloe embossed logo on the front of the flap, and this bag has a single, adjustable, cross body strap.
There is a pouch pocket inside the bag, and it is delivered with a Chloe dust bag.
The bag measures measure 25cm / 9.8″ x 30cm / 11.8″ x 14cm / 5.5″ (all measurements are approximate).
Chloe Marcie Mini Crossbody Bags in Tan
Last, but not least, are the appealing Marcie Mini Bags. These crossbody bags are ever so elegant, and feature the same stitch detail and attention to detail as their big sisters. They have an adjustable cross body strap, a flap over with toggle fastening and there are two internal pockets. The bags are embellished with matter gold coloured metalwork and the Chloe logo is embossed onto the flap.
These bags are also presented in a Chloé dust bag.

Chloé Marcie Small Hobo Bag in Coral
The new season version of the Chloé Marcie Small Hobo is a luxurious leather handbag in pale coral, which features detailed stitching to the flap over, and chunky gold coloured metal hardware throughout. I particularly like the double-D handle rings on each side of the bag.
The single shoulder strap is structured with wrap around leather strip detail. The bag has a top zip fastening and inside, there is a single, fully lined compartment with a zip pocket and an open pocket. There is also a slip pocket under the front flap.

Chloe Rachel Bow Clutch in Gold Leather, Black Silk or Pink Silk
The Chloe Rachel Bow Clutch is a luxurious clutch with a quirky gold coloured bow on the front. A flap over style, it is available in either gold leather, black silk or pink silk. All the versions of the bag are lined in leather with gold tone hardware and trim.
The Chloe Rachel clutch is a stunning, structured bag which was designed to be the perfect evening bag for a night out. Chloe Small Python Marcie Bag Exclusive to Selfridges
This Chloe Small Python Marcie Bag has been updated exclusively for Selfridges, and finished in luxe real python skin.
This bag, a smaller version of the standard Marcie bag, is a satchel style bag which has the signature Marcie features including the hand stitched braiding and shiny gold-tone hardware throughout. This bag is a flap over style bag with a long leather, bukcle adjusting, cross body strap.
Inside, the bag is fully lined and there are two pouch pockets.

The Chloe Paddington Tote Bag is a tan leather bag with two top handles in leaher and a top zip fastening. It has two zip pulls which meet in the centre and can be locked together using the brass padlock, which is embellished with a stitched leather strip embossed with the Chloé logo. The zip pulls are also embossed with the brand. The key to the padlock dangles from a leather thong attached to one of the handles.
