Alexander McQueen Medium Faithful Satchel Bag
The Alexander McQueen Faithful satchel is a medium sized leather bag in a scoop shape with zip, stud and buckle detailing and a zip fastening. Other features include an Alexander McQueen silver-tone tag, mounted on leather and a front pocket with a stud and buckle fastening. The bag can either be carried in the hand using the single top handle or worn over the shoulder using the shoulder strap.
Inside, the bag is fully lined in a canvas material and there is a leather trimmed zip pocket.

Alexander McQueen (16 March 1969 – 11 February 2010)
It is with great sadness that I am reporting to you the untimely death of Alexander McQueen, one of the greatest British Fashion Designers ever.
Alexander McQueen was known as Lee to his family, as that was his first name. He named the brand after his middle name, Alexander.
Alexander McQueen was found dead at his flat in Mayfair, just days after the death of his beloved mother. He is thought to have committed suicide.
His family have issued this statement:
“On behalf of Lee McQueen’s family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand, has been found dead at his home.
“At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee’s family.
“Lee’s family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this.”
Many celebrities, models and fashion editors around the world have paid tribute to McQueen.
Alexandra Shulman, the editor of Vogue, said: “Lee McQueen influenced a whole generation of designers. His brilliant imagination knew no bounds as he conjured up collection after collection of extraordinary designs.
“At one level, he was a master of the fantastic, creating astounding fashion shows that mixed design, technology and performance and on another he was a modern-day genius whose gothic aesthetic was adopted by women the world over. His death is the hugest loss to anyone who knew him and for very many who didn’t.”
Victoria Beckham, who if often seen wearing Alexander McQueen designs, said: “McQueen was a master of fashion, creative genius and an inspiration.
“Today the fashion industry has lost a true great. An icon of all time. He made all he touched beautiful and will be desperately missed.
“My heart is very much with his family and friends at this very sad time.”
Alexander McQueen was discovered by his mentor Isabella Blow, the former fashion editor of Tatler, who bought all of Alexander McQueen’s graduate fashion collection for £5,000. Isabella killer herself in 2007 after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer. McQueen was gutted by her death.
In 2003, Alexander McQueen was awarded the CBE. He also won British designer of the year four times and the International Designer of the Year at the Council of Fashion Designer Awards.
Goodbye, Alexander McQueen. I will miss your fabulous skull clutches and your Faithful Totes.

Alexander McQueen Red Faithful Hobo Buckle Bag

The Alexander McQueen red Faithful hobo bag is a large bag constructed from butter soft red leather. It features two top handles with adjustable buckle fastenings. All the hardware on the bag is gold in colour, including the two studs on the front, either side of the subtle embossed logo.

The Alexander McQueen Dogtooth (some call it Houndstooth) black and white Faithful tote bag is a large bag which is trimmed in crinkly black patent leather. It has lots of zips, stud fastenings, stitching and buckles. Features include large dogtooth bouclé panels. The metal hardware is silver in colour throughout, and the bag has two top buckle-fastening handles. Additional features include reinforced corners and stud fastenings at the sides to adjust the size.
Inside, the bag has internal zip and open pockets and is fully lined.

The Alexander McQueen red “Faithful” biker tote bag has its own funky styling, including asymmetric zips and stud fastening flaps. Inside, it is lined in a black material and has a zipped pocket. The Alexander McQueen black “Faithful” large biker tote bag (pictured above) features asymmetric zip detailing and stud-fastened fold over flap decoration.
